Continuing its domestic and national investments within the scope of the National Energy and Mining Strategy, BOTAŞ, the leading institution of the energy sector, has achieved another important first.

BOTAŞ and TUSAŞ Engine Industries Inc. (TEI) have agreed on cooperating for carrying out the periodic heavy maintenance of gas turbines in Turkey with domestic and national resources.

In this context, BOTAŞ and TEI signed a cooperation agreement on 11 August 2022.

The signing ceremony held at TEI Eskişehir Campus was attended by BOTAŞ General Manager and Chairman of the Board Burhan ÖZCAN, BOTAŞ Deputy General Manager and Board Member M. Talha PAMUKÇU, TEI General Manager Prof. Dr. Mahmut F. AKŞİT, TEI Programs Director Ahmet KAİN and company officials.

As part of the cooperation agreement signed between BOTAŞ and TEI, heavy maintenance of gas turbines will be carried out at TEI facilities in Eskişehir.
