The world's largest ship-to-ship LNG transmission operation (STS) was carried out at BOTAŞ Dörtyol Terminal on January 2, 2019.

The transfer between “Al Sadd”, origin of Qatar Q-Flex size -one of the world's largest LNG vessels- with 315 meters length and 206 thousand cubic meters storage capacity, and ‘MOL FSRU Challenger’, BOTAŞ's Q-Max size -the largest vessel in its categoy in the World- with 345 meters length and 263 thousand cubic meters of storage capacity, was the largest ship-to-ship LNG transmission operation in the world.
