The women’s basketball team was established in 1984 initially from the need of BOTAŞ personnel to do sports unprofessionally and eventually turned into a big sports club today.
The sports club aimed at contributing to the country’s basketball league and keep young people healthy both mentally and physically and became successful several times in Türkiye and Europe.
The BOTAŞ Sports Club, which constituted its own principles and rules and grew steadily from the day it was established, formed groundwork teams, sports schools and school teams under its umbrella, and raised many managers, trainers and players for Turkish sports with the activities on various areas.
The BOTAŞ Sports Club makes a great effort to keep young population as healthy individuals in the community and fulfills a great duty in terms of social responsibility.
