BOTAŞ Kindergarten has started its operations in Ceyhan Terminal in Petroleum Operations District Management in 2018-2019 academic year.
In BOTAŞ Kindergarten which provides pre-school education, 22 chidren of BOTAŞ personnel, between the ages of 2 and 6, spent a nice and beneficial year as they were provided courses in the fields of Physical Education, Values Education, English, Chess and Gymnastics.
Under the authority of Ministry of National Education, BOTAS Primary and Secondary Schools continue their formal education as per necessary protocols, within the boundaries of Regional Directorate of Oil Operations. The Schools have approximately 90 registered students, a majority of whom are from the neighboring villages to the Regional Directorate. For the purposes of social responsibility and on a voluntary basis, occasionally, related BOTAS personnel invited by the school administration provide lessons to the students on subjects such as oil transmission activities, occupational safety procedures, health and medical information, basic legal rights (children’s rights, etc.) and fire safety. Furthermore, the students are allowed to utilize the social and sportive facilities located in our terminal area, such as astro-pitch, indoor sports hall and cafeteria, within the bounds of possibility.
In their journey to the future, various trainings offered by BOTAS family, and sportive and social activities which will contribute the development of children in all possible ways are investments without physical limits to our future. As BOTAS, today, as we were yesterday, we are proud to offer our best support for the physical and moral development of children.
